Dr. Bruno is a nationally renowned expert in the field of Civil-Ocean Engineering. He obtained his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, his Masters in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Berkley and his Sc.D. in Civil-Ocean Engineering from MIT-Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. He currently is the Director of the New Jersey Coastal Protection Technical Assistance Service where he reviews all new and emerging coastal technologies for the state of New Jersey. Additionally, he is the Director of the Davidson Laboratory at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey.

Awarded a Fulbright Scholarship in 1996, Dr. Bruno is a member of, the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers, American Society of Civil Engineers, American Geophysical Union, American Shore and Beach Preservation Association and The Oceanography Society. Dr. Bruno has chosen to serve on the BRI board of directors to provide guidance and ensure the success of a process and technology he believes is a valuable addition to current coastal erosion solutions. Dr. Bruno is viewed as one of this Nation's experts in the field of coastal research and engineering. In addition he continues to assist in the development of the scientific and engineering efficacy of CEMS®.

Our Coastal and Geo-textile engineer has over 19 years of marine environmental, dredging and coastal engineering experience. In addition, she has extensive experience in the use of geo-textiles and their placement in fresh and salt water environments.Our team has worked with and for the US Army Corps of Engineers where shore protection and environmental restoration projects were managed.
