The BRI mission is to implement erosion solutions that are grounded in science and strengthened by the innovative integration of Nature, Engineering and Technology.

The BRI approach has resulted in a system known as the Coastal Erosion Mitigation Solution (CEMS®). The patent pending CEMS® system recognizes the complexity and interaction of the forces that impact upon a beach envelop.

Through a detailed process of data gathering, assessment, integration and sensitivity analysis; CEMS® creates a data decision matrix which serves to provide site specific characteristics of a beach that can be operated upon by a series of proprietary computer models, producing a discrete mitigation solution. This solution embodies the scientific approach that characterizes BRI and its projects.
